Terms of service

1. What this is

TCG Pricer is an aggregator of publicly-available Pokémon Trading Card Game pricing data. We collect prices from third-party marketplaces (TCGPlayer, eBay, Cardmarket, and others) and present them in a single interface and API. We are not affiliated with The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK, TCGPlayer, eBay, or Cardmarket. "Pokémon" and all related names are trademarks of their respective owners.

2. Accuracy of pricing

We make best efforts to keep prices accurate and current, but we make no guarantees. Prices are typically updated once per day and reflect marketplace asks or computed market values, not guaranteed transaction prices. Do not rely solely on TCG Pricer for high-value purchases — verify on the source marketplace.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password and API keys confidential. Don't share keys, don't commit them to public repositories. If a key leaks, rotate it immediately from your account.

You may not use the service to break the law or to scrape it beyond your plan's rate limit. Excessive abuse may result in account suspension without refund.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Free tier is free, no credit card required. We may change free-tier limits with notice.
• Paid plans — Starter ($2/mo), Premium ($4/mo) and Pro ($7/mo) — are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
• Cancel anytime from your billing page. You retain paid access through the end of the current paid period; no prorated refund.
• Refunds: we'll refund within 7 days of a charge if you've used the service in good faith. Email us.
• Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, we'll retry per Stripe's default schedule. After repeated failure your subscription downgrades to Free.
• Price changes: if we raise Premium pricing, existing subscribers keep their current price for at least 90 days before transition.

5. Acceptable API use

• Don't redistribute the raw API responses as a competing pricing service. You can build apps and tools on top.
• Don't share API keys across organizations to circumvent rate limits.
• Don't use the API to flood any third-party marketplace.
• Identify your application in the User-Agent string if you can — it helps us help you when something breaks.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." We're not liable for losses related to your trading, investment, or collecting decisions made using our data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period (which for free users is $0).

7. Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice except for cases of clear abuse where notice would compound damage (spam, fraud, etc.).

8. Changes

We'll email registered users at least 14 days before any material change to these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
